Map of Canada, showing Winnipeg, Manitoba
By plane, Winnipeg is just three hours from Vancouver, two-and-a-half hours from Toronto, and less than two hours from Chicago.

Winnipeg recently ranked in the top 10 most visited Canadian cities thanks to its many attractions. A cosmopolitan, multicultural, and imminently livable city, Winnipeg offers an array of cultural experiences including Folklorama, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Winnipeg Folk Festival, the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

As well, Winnipeg is home to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Inuit Art Centre–Qaumajuq. Enjoy recreational activities such as skating the Assiniboine River ice trail, trips to amazing lakes and beaches—and, of course, cheering for the Winnipeg Jets and Winnipeg Blue Bombers!

CMU is home to students from across the country and around the world. The CMU campus boasts an art gallery, bike co-op, market garden, third-wave coffee shop, and is next door to Assiniboine Park, the Winnipeg Zoo, and North America's largest urban forest, which features walking and cycling trails.
