Extended Education

We are very pleased to welcome extended education students to the CMU campus.

There are three categories of extended education: auditing students, non-degree for credit students, and visiting students.

Applications for new extended education students are accepted anytime but course registration is open during the following dates:

  • Fall and full-year courses: June 15 to August 25
  • Winter courses: November 1 to December 15
  • Spring/Summer courses: starting December 1

Please contact the Registrar's Office at registrarsoffice:@:cmu.ca or call 204.487.3300 or toll free at 1.877.231.7470 with questions.

  1. Complete the online Extended Education application form.
  2. Once the form and any required documents (if applicable) are received, Registrar's Office will inform the applicant via email regarding acceptance and registration in classes.

    • Fee statement
    • Grades
    • Information from your instructor
  4. Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete and submit a course change form.
