STEP 1: Fill out an application
Domestic Students
Applications for Winter 2025 and Fall 2025 are open. The deadline for Winter 2025 applications is December 15. A non-refundable application fee of $80 is required.
International Students
Applications for Winter 2025 are now closed. Applications for Fall 2025 are now open. Please visit the international student webpages for detailed explanations regarding studying at CMU. A $150 nonrefundable application fee is required for international applications all year round.

STEP 2: Check your application portal often for required items and decision letters.
- You may upload an unofficial transcript as part of your application to your application portal.
- Original official final transcripts are required for final admission and must be submitted directly from an institution (or mailed or delivered in person).

STEP 3: Apply for financial aid and awards
CMU offers nearly 400 scholarships and bursaries to students. CMU awards scholarships and bursaries to approximately 50% of the student body each year, so be sure to apply!
Scholarship application deadline is February 28.
Bursary application deadline is May 31 (international students); July 20 (domestic students).
