Nicolien Klassen-Wiebe she/her

Writer

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Nicolien graduated from CMU in 2018 with a BA in Communications and Media. After several months of post-grad travel in Europe, she returned to CMU in 2019 as writer for the Communications & Marketing department. She is also the host and producer of CMU's radio program, Sunday@CMU.

Nicolien values the community and passion for learning at CMU and is excited to be bringing to life the multitude of stories waiting to be told. She has written for Anabaptist World, Showbiz Monkeys, Westgate Mennonite Collegiate, and Canadian Mennonite, where she was Manitoba Correspondent for six years.

Nicolien loves singing in choirs, being outside, listening to live music, and giving her cat hugs. She attends Charleswood Mennonite Church.
