Keynote Speakers

Lorna Dueck, well-known Christian broadcaster and commentator, CEO of Yes TV and host of Context with Lorna Dueck.

Gerry Bowler, a former professor of History at the University of Manitoba and chronicler of the way Christianity intersects with popular culture.

Sarah Wilkins-Laflamme, Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Waterloo and author, with Joel Thiessen, professor of sociology at Ambrose University in Calgary, of the forthcoming book None of the Above: Having No Religion in the United States and Canada.

The speakers will be followed by panels reflecting on the issues and ideas raised by their presentations. Time will also be taken to acknowledge founder and first editor Harold Jantz, and others who made ChristianWeek possible.

Also joining us at the Symposium will be members of Canadian Church Press and the Anglican Editors Association.
