Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) has partnered with Student VIP for August 2024 to provide best-in-class health insurance and health care services to international students while attending CMU. Please find below a summary of coverage that students will have through the International Student Health & Wellness Program at Canadian Mennonite University starting August 2024.

I.M. Well - Mental Health & Wellness Program

24/7 access to mental health therapists who speak over 200 languages to provide culturally appropriate support. Students will receive immediate counselling and follow up appointments if needed. There are no costs to the student to use this program and there is no cap on sessions. Counselling is available by telephone, live-chat, video-chat and in-person (follow up sessions).

Virtual Health Clinic

24/7 access to nurse practitioners (NP’s) through the new Virtual Health Clinic. Students will be able to see an NP any time of day or night without any up-front costs. Care is available right away with no appointments needed and no limit on visits. NP’s can diagnose, prescribe, refer for diagnostic imaging and lab work, acute mental health / crisis mental health care, and follow up support.
