Estamos is open to both Canadian and international students from CMU. International students taking part in Estamos will need to follow the visa process required for their country of citizenship. Students should make plans early to allow for sufficient time in acquiring documents.
Grants from the Government of Canada to offset student costs apply only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. International students who participate in Estamos will be required to pay the full amount unless they have other sources of scholarships or bursaries.
Students from other institutions are eligible to participate in Estamos, however they must follow the Extended Education – Visiting process on top of completing the Estamos application. Visiting students who are Canadian or Permanent Residents will also be eligible for reduced student fees based on the Global Skills Opportunity grant that CMU has been awarded.
