Faspa on the Lawn: The Original Charcuterie

The CMU Board invites all alumni, donors, and friends to a fundraising garden party! Join us in the dappled sunlight of the south lawn for food, garden games, and laughter as you are serenaded and inspired by CMU talent.

Thursday, June 20 | 6:00 PM

This event will support the vibrant array of education programs and major projects at CMU (including, the upcoming renovations to the original student residence building, Poettcker Hall).

We will gather around delicious fare and refreshments generously donated by members of several Hutterite communities throughout Manitoba.

We eagerly anticipate gathering as an extended community to call CMU forward together. We trust each new generation will find its place amidst the beauty of the earth and the warm friendship of the CMU learning community.

All guests are asked to please bring their own outdoor blanket and/or lawn chair to the event.

Where: North side of campus on the lawn south of the castle building, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd. – NEW LOCATION!
In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors.

Parking: North Side Parking (Lot A, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd.)

Intergenerational Event: Faspa on the Lawn is intended for community members of all ages. Garden games and a bouncy castle will create a fun evening for all. All children 12 and under require a free ticket to be claimed through the form below.

Accessibility Considerations: This event will take place mainly on the grass lawn on the south side of Founders Hall (castle building) at 500 Shaftesbury Blvd. Accessible parking is limited.

Tickets Required for all Guests:

Pay what you can starting at $20 per person (to cover costs); all amounts over $20 will be receipted.
Children 12 and under are free with a corresponding ticket.
Recent alumni (2014 and newer) are welcome to a ticket without a minimum contribution. Please select the "Young Alumni" ticket option below.
