CMU is a great location from which to go running, biking, walking, and cross-country skiing on trails throughout the neighbouring Assiniboine Forest. Assiniboine Park, with its zoo, sculpture garden, and duck pond (ice skating in the winter), is just a 20-minute walk away. CMU also has cross-country skis and an outdoor skating rink for students' use throughout the winter.
During the last week of January, Student Life organizes an entire week of activities for students to learn more about and to practice holistic wellness.
