Poettcker Hall

Poettcker Hall is at the heart of the CMU Residence program with the Dining Hall attached and a centrally located lounge on each floor. This means your classes are just minutes away from where you live, work, and play. Poettcker Hall has a mix of dorm rooms and apartments. The dorms are typically occupied by first and second year students while the apartments are reserved for upper year students.

 

Dorms

The first and second floors of Poettcker Hall are entirely dormitory style rooms and are divided into two wings. Students can request either single or double occupancy rooms.

Cost

Apartments

Poettcker Hall has 15 apartment units, ranging from studio to two-bedroom suites. Apartments are generally reserved for upper-year students. Mature undergraduate students, graduate students, and first-year students with significant dietary needs may qualify for apartments in their first year of studies.
