Some psychology grads put their skills to work immediately upon completion of their studies at CMU. These students may find themselves employed by community organizations that work with disadvantaged youth, operate drop-in centres, or assist individuals with special needs to live independently.
Other graduates use their degree in psychology as platform for pursuing further studies in psychology or a range of related fields such as counseling, social work, or ministry. These CMU psychology graduates may be employed by school divisions, work in trauma and crisis centers, or be employed as child behaviour consultants.
Others use their degree in psychology toward admittance to programs such as law or medicine.
