At CMU, Geography is studied in an interdisciplinary setting which includes International Development Studies, Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies, Biblical and Theological Studies, and Political Studies. This provides an opportunity to integrate your personal convictions and beliefs into your academic studies, while preparing for work in a diversity of areas and disciplines.
Practicum placements help students apply their classroom learning and get practical, hands-on experience, developing skills for professional success. Additionally, small class sizes, and support from professors, help students succeed in CMU's academically rigorous program.
Consequently, graduates of CMU's Geography program emerge versatile, well-rounded, critical thinkers with excellent research and communication skills, able to apply their training practically in a variety of careers.
