Exhibits: The Poetry of Painting

Opening Event February 8, 1-3 PM | Exhibiting January 31 - March 22, 2025

The Poetry of Painting combines art and poetry to compliment and enhance the essential attributes common to both expressive art forms. In this exhibit, art is displayed alongside poems by community poets who have been paired with artworks and responded to them. This collaborative exercise allows the viewer to observe the works, read the poems, and be an audience to another person's response.

  • Join the contributing poets for poetry readings of their own work and favourites in a celebration of World Poetry Day (March 21)!
