Alrika Imasami Rojas (she/her) is an Andean-Mennonite woman with lived roots in both Bolivia and Canada. Equipped with a culturally diverse upbringing and a degree in environmental science, Alrika is dedicated to the journey of decolonization and the creation and support of spaces that encourage cultural and Indigenous expression. Alrika is a long-time member of Fort Garry Mennonite Fellowship, a church in Winnipeg, Manitoba, structured around a congregational model committed to shared responsibility without focused leadership in any one person or office.

At home in the prairies (though missing the mountains) Alrika enjoys spending time with her spouse Alfred, two kiddos, Amaru and Aeletheria, and miniature schnauzer, Cepi. When she is not at work, singing with her band Punch Party, or doing her best to keep the chaos of an active house at bay, she can probably be found with her nose in a book. As such, Alrika always welcomes any and all book recommendations and strongly encourages you to tell her about your latest life-changing read.
