Chapel
Weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:30 AM, chapels provide opportunities for the CMU Community to join regularly in worship. For more information about chapels and other community gatherings check the Student Hub weekly.
Movement
Fitness Room
- Located in the North side building, adjacent to the Loewen Athletic Centre, this space is available to all students, staff, and faculty to use for individual workouts and training.
- To receive access to the CMU Fitness Room, please contact North Reception in person or at 204.487.3300 to fill out the waiver.
Campus REC
- STUCO Sports and Rec Committee – Check the Student Hub regularly for events!
Surrounding Area
CMU is a great location from which to go running, biking, walking, and cross-country skiing on trails throughout the neighbouring Assiniboine Forest. Assiniboine Park, with its zoo, sculpture garden, and duck pond (ice skating in the winter), is just a 20-minute walk away. CMU also has cross-country skis and an outdoor skating rink for students' use throughout the winter.
