ANTH-1610/3 Cultural Anthropology:The comparative study of human societies and cultures, including language, economic and political organization, family and kinship, ritual and belief systems, cultural stability and change.
ANTH-1620/3 Human Origins and World Prehistory:
An introduction to the study of the biological nature of the human species and its origins, and of the cultural and biological record of the past. Topics to be engaged include biological evolution, the positions of humans within the Order Primates, the human fossil record, the nature of modern human variation, the nature of the archaeological record
