The Alumni Office helps to organize events in an effort to cultivate and maintain ties between CMU and its alumni, friends & staff as well as to develop beneficial and long-lasting relationships. CMU would like to have Alumni Events in every region its alumni find themselves.

Regional Alumni Events

Regional Alumni Events are events hosted by alumni for alumni & friends of CMU. There are a many different kinds of events that you could host, anything from a small informal event in your home to a large event at a local conference centre. Here are some ideas:

• Plan a Coffee House event in your home church
• Host an Afternoon Tea in your home
• Have a "CMU Alum section" at the next local sporting event
• Host a special speaker at at dinner event at a local hotel
• Host an Alumni Reception after a CMU Choir Tour stop at your local church
• Organize alumni to come out and cheer on the CMU Blazers the next time they're in town
• Organize a CMU Alumni & Friends Dinner at your next provincial assembly
